The 2008 Best In The Desert (BITD) Racing Association and the Nevada-based Silver State Series launches into the 2008 desert off-road racing season with the 2008 Epic Racing Products Parker 250. The off-road race features dirt bikes, motorcycles, peewees, ATVs, quads, UTVs , mini bikes and side-X-sides combined for an epic race along side the Colorado River and the legendary Parker, Arizona off-road race course. The race, dubbed a "Duel In The Desert," features no pre-running (prefun run), includes the annual kids / youth motorcycle and ATV race.

Led by desert racing icon, Casey Folks, the Best In The Desert (BITD) Racing Association conducts off-road desert races and hare scrambles dirt bike races in Nevada. The BITD races include such race vehicles as the SCORE Trophy Truck, off-road truck, SUV, 4X4, prerunner truck, buggy, VW bug, JeepSpeed Jeep Cherokee XJ, motorcycle, dirt bike, side-X-side, ATV and UTV vehicles as well as BITD Trick Truck (SCORE Trophy Trucks), off-road truck, SUV, 4X4, prerunner truck, buggy, VW bug, JeepSpeed Jeep Cherokee XJ, motorcycle, dirt bike, ATV and UTV.
