 Mojave Desert Racing (MDR) was launched in 1997 and replaced the defunct La Rana Desert Racing Series that saw its end in 1996. The young and ambitious Paul Duffey who worked with the LRDR series took on the responsibility of launching the series and filling the void of off-road desert racing enthusiasts. Duffey has since handed over the reigns of the organization to members of his family. |
